ANXIETY

I work with people feeling overwhelmed by “what if” thoughts about a range of issues. For some, anxiety can be situational and triggered by work, finances, relationships, or health. For others, anxiety is less about what is happening around them and more about how they feel about themselves. Internal triggers may include insecurity, sensitivity to criticism, self-consciousness, self-doubt, and abandonment issues. Regardless of the trigger, I am trained to equip you with what you need to rise above the noise of the anxiety that is dragging you down.

OCD

I specialize in a type of OCD known as "Pure O" which is characterized by obsessions and intrusive thoughts that stem from intense self-doubt and lead to ruminating, excessive researching, mentally replaying, and reassurance-seeking. Obsessions often revolve around things such as a fear of causing harm to oneself or others, being a bad person, doubts about sexual orientation, fear of being in the wrong relationship, or concerns about committing moral violations. Using evidence-based treatments such as Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP), Inference-based Therapy (I-CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), I will help you break free from your self-doubt and learn to trust yourself so that you can start living the life you want.

RELATIONSHIPS

I work with both individuals and couples struggling with love and intimacy. Common concerns include conflict-avoidance, communication issues, people-pleasing behavior, attachment issues, toxic relationship patterns, breakups, betrayal, consensual non-monogamy, codependency, and boundary issues. Whether I’m working with an individual or a couple, I utilize a combination of Relational Life Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, and Schema Therapy to help people live in a way in which they can start to feel loving connection with others and themselves.
